Product Description

As soon as your foot hits the brake pedal the friction of the pad and rotor immediately create heat, and high brake temperatures can affect brake performance. EBC Sport Rotors can help keep those brake temperatures down. EBC Sport Rotors incorporate wide slots in the brakes design that pushes out hot gases and act like a fan to pull in cooler air. The slots in the EBC Sport Rotors also keep the braking surface clear of dust and debris for maximum pad life and performance.

EBC Sport RotorsEBC Sport Rotors have precision bored dimples that help vent hot gases cause by breaking and also aid in the prevention of dreaded brake fade. EBC Sport Rotors precision bored dimples also help with brake rotor integrity they are resistant to cracking unlike many cross-drilled rotors that are prone to cracking under intense braking. EBC Sport Rotors are also gold or black anodized zinc coated for exceptional rust and corrosion protection which will keep your brake rotors looking great.

Installation Tips

When installing your new EBC Sport Rotors it is important to also replace your Brake Pads as well. Using old or worn-out brake pads could cause hot spots, brake fade, and prolong bed-in-time which can seriously affect braking performance. Check out our selection of EBC Brake Pads. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper braking performance.

Note:
One thing to consider before purchasing the EBC Sport Rotor is the air noise that can be noticed while driving. With most slotted rotors there will be an increase in air noise as the rotors pass under the brake pad during normal driving conditions. Some people like the noise however others may not.

Seam to work really well. Not noisy at all unless you are driving right next to a k-rail with the window down, then you can just barely hear them.

The installation was quick and easy. The rotors create a slightly different noise than stock but the backing is quick and snappy. After my first wheeling trip with them, I'm very happy.

WOW! Once i got them installed on my 99' K2500 3/4 ton 4x4, I was impressed how much they are better than anything I had installed in the past. There is a noise from the rotor that can be annoying but so long as you know what it is, it is a sign that the breaks are there! The clicking sound from the rotors turn to a slight whistle when you apply the breaks, certainly nothing that I can live with. I recommend these to anyone looking for quality! Online and customer support were AWESOME! Thanks guys!

I have had the rotors on my 2006 Toyota Tundra 4x4 for approximately two weeks and so far I am happy with their performance. As stated in the owner's manuel, it takes approximately 1000 miles for proper break in. I have not had any issues with wind noise and my truck brakes very well. I could not give them a five star rating because, I do not know how the brake's performance is going to be long term? I purchased the DP61657 EBC Greenstuff Brake Pads and GD7158 EBC Sport Rotors. Sincerely, Tim

Installed green stuff pads and EBC sport rotors on my 2008 Odyssey. Braking is better than OEM. The only problem is the wind noise. Sounds like a playing card smacking against the spokes of a kids bicycle. Wish EBC would off described the wind noise better.

I bought these rotors for my 2006 F-150 about 15 months ago. When they arrived I was impressed by the quality of workmanship and the fact that the hub was separate from the rotor. The hubs and rotors were mounted according to the Ford service manual. New EBC Yellow stuff pads were also installed. After performing the recommended breakin, there was no descernible difference between these rotors and pads and the OEM. The truck is used mainly for interstate travel and around town. After about a year a front end shudder developed when breaking. This shudder became increasing worse until the truck was impossible to drive. Inspection by the Ford dealership found the rotors to be severely warped. Because they are dimpled and slotted they can not be resurfaced and required replacement. When I purchased these rotors, the advertisement stated that they were guaranteed not to warp. The warranty has now been changed to read 12 months or 10,000 miles. I'm now back to the OEM rotors and pads. EBC may be pretty, but they don't perform and they don't stand up to normal use.

I paired the EBC Sport Rotor with the redstuff pad on my 05 Infiniti G35 and this is a great combo for when I go to the local track, and it still does good on the street.
