  Product Description

  EBC Ultimax Slotted Rotors offer you the performance of slotted rotors but without the air noise that is normally associated with slotted rotors. The progressively angled slots on the EBC Ultimax Slotted Brake Rotors offer quiet brake operation without that excessive air noise, while still allowing the slots to help keep your brakes cool. The angled slots pull in cool air for cooler brake operation which helps your brakes perform at their best. The slots also help to clear any excess dust and debris to help keep pad grip to a maximum while also increasing pad longivity.

  

  Installation Tips

  When installing your new EBC Ultimax Slotted Rotors it is important to also replace your Brake Pads as well. Using old or wornout brake pads could cause hot spots, brake fade, and prolong bed-in-time which can seriously affect braking performance. Check out our selection of EBC Brake Pads. EBC Ultimax Slotted Rotors work great when used with the appropriate pad compounds, EBC Greenstuff, Redstuff, Yellowstuff, and Bluestuff Performance Brake Pads are highly recommended. Professional installation is also recommended to ensure proper braking performance.

  Note:

  One thing to consider before purchasing the EBC Ultimax Rotor is the air noise that may occur while driving. With most slotted rotors there will be an increase in air noise as the rotors pass under the brake pad during normal driving conditions. The EBC Ultimax Rotor was designed to minimize this effect, but still may produce the air noise. Some people like the noise however others may not.

I haven't really been able to try them because I am still breaking in my yellowstuff pads. They look sweet too!
